The Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture was established in July, 1976. It was incorporated in November, 1979 as a non-profit organization.
The Chamber was established for the following cardinal objectives:

To promote and protect Trade, Industry, Mines and Agriculture
To collect and disseminate statistical data and information relating to tarde, commerce insurance, shipping, industry manufacturing, agriculture and technology
To educate member of the business community on the like viable business venture by printing, published newsletter, periodical book or leaflet that the Chamber may think desirable for the promotion of its interest,
To organize, promote and sponsor trade or and Industrial exhibitions, fairs and symposia.
The Chamber as a voluntary organized private sector caters for the small, medium and large scale business enterprises.

The Chamber which comprises of companies established or are having economics interest in the old Abeokuta province now Abeokuta North, Abeokuta South, Ifo, Ewekoro, Odeda and Obafemi/owode Local Government of Ogun state embraces those engaged in Commerce, Industries, Professional Practice, Banking, Insurance, Marketing, Chemical and Pharmaceutical e.t.c.
